Our firm is built on years of experience in the environments that matter most for a PR professional: the newsroom, other agencies, in-house corporate, and entrepreneurial ventures.
Our Leadership Team
Jeff Lavery, Managing Principal, Public Relations

Pedigree Public Relations Founder Jeff Lavery cut his teeth as a reporter for newspapers in New York and Massachusetts before joining the A/E/C industry as Consigli Construction Co., Inc’s first-ever internal communications coordinator. After leading the firm’s external communications program, he took on increasingly larger roles in B2B tech agencies before managing the PR operations for the largest privately-owned U.S. broadband company’s eastern region. With a deep commitment to delivering maximum value to clients and having an innate understanding of how to build a good standing in the eyes of the public, the media, and elected officials, he chose to build a firm that reflected these ideals. He is also a co-founder in an AI technology company catering to the vintage automobile industry and, quite literally, loves to work. When he does catch his breath, he is happily married to a loving wife, father to three incredible children, and the caretaker of a variety of classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles that make child rearing seem easy.
Dave Schindler, Managing Principal, Government Affairs

As a child, Dave fell in love with the Olympic Games watching the 1980 USA Hockey Team perform the "Miracle on Ice." Four years later, watching the first day of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, a passion for cycling was born that remains to this day. His involvement in most aspects of the industry shaped both his education and career path that culminated in being a credentialed official for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after authoring newly adopted legislation used by the governing body of the sport of Cycling. Today, Dave is responsible for developing renewable energy projects for clients like Slate Mountain Renewables, the energy venture division of the larger Red River Forests, a long-standing Forest Management and Timber Operation located in Northern California. Dave is enthusiastic about expanding the philosophy of being good stewards of the land through renewable and sustainable practices to advance wind, solar, energy storage and next generation Small Modular Reactor nuclear energy projects. While Florida is home, he enjoys summers in Vermont with his wife's family.
